Slice displays beautiful yellow/green gem-quality peridot (olivine) crystals. Metallic areas display wonderful "Widmanstatten structure". This combination of gem crystals and iron is one of the rarest types of meteorite yet discovered. This particular discovery has the highest ratio of peridot to metal of all the pallasites.
