Large, thick slice of Cambrian stromatolites from a new discovery site in Australia! This BEAUTIFUL and UNIQUE slice measures 9" x 9" x 1/2" thick and has been cut and polished (one side) to a mirror-like finish. Colonies have wonderful color and detail. Top edge is capped with druzy quartz; plus, numerous natural voids throughout the specimen are also filled with clear quartz. Colonies can bee seen on both sides. First-time offering from this location!
