Two bird feathers on matrix slab, 8”x 10”; largest feather (primary) measures 2.75” long and 1.25” wide. Smallest feather (pin) measures 1” x 3/4”. Sharp detail on both feathers, especially on individual barbs. Fossil feathers are extremely rare in the fossil record. This specimen displays two different types of feathers in close proximity. No repair or restoration.
