Partial skeleton of a Cretaceous pterosaur, on matrix, 25" x 21", consisting of the following skeletal elements:

1. Upper maxillary and nare opening of skull - length 14"

2. Complete wing containing the following elements:

Scapula-coracoid (shoulder girdle)Phalanx I - 12" long
Humerus - 5" longPhalanx II - 8.5" long
Ulna and Radius - 8" longPhalanx III
Carpals (3) and PteroidPhalanx IV
Metacarpal - 12.5" longDistal 1/2 of Ulna and Radius of other wing
Digits (3) and Claws (2) 
(Specimen includes colorized skeletal line drawing showing bone location)
The dimensions of these bones indicates that this pterosaur was a sub-adult and it had an extrapolated wing span of approximately 12.5 feet. Some of the post cranial bones are articulated in a life-like position. The specimen has been prepared "as discovered". Bone preservation and detail are superb!!

Pterosaur remains are extremely RARE in the fossil record, especially those with cranial elements and wing claws. Specimen is in EXCELLENT condition and is suitable for research and/or display!
