Most every item on the web site now has a shipping charge shown for “Continental USA” shipping. All other shipping charges will be calculated on a per-item basis, depending on the size and weight of the specimen and the destination location. Shipping charges for multiple purchases will be calculated at the time of shipment. As always, overseas shipments will be sent “freight collect” or prepaid by the purchaser.
The shipping and insurance cost of most specimens is shown along with the price. This cost is for STANDARD UPS (United Parcel Post) or USPS – Priority Mail (United States Postal Service), to be used at our discretion, based on the size, weight, and price of the specimen. The stated shipping cost is good for all “Continental USA” orders. Some specimens have “Shipping to be determined”, due to their excessive weight or size. In this case, the shipping costs will be calculated at the time of shipment and charged to the purchaser. Shipping cost on shipments to Alaska or Hawaii will also be determined at the time of shipment. Out-of-country shipments will be sent “freight collect” or prepaid. These costs are the responsibility of the purchaser and will be determined on a per item basis. Overnight, 2nd Day Air, or other special shipping requests will be accommodated when possible; however, all costs will be charged to the purchaser.
We accept American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, PayPal, personal or bank checks. No COD’s accepted. Also, Purchase Orders from museums and accredited institutions are accepted.
